A mother-daughter duo, Lisa Kushnir and Cynthia Marh Van Decker have been serving fresh, homemade comfort food at The Little Food Cafe since 2001. What started as a dream quickly became a Bayonne staple, where customers turned into lifelong friends and every meal was made with love.

Through challenges big and small—including cooking breakfast sandwiches with a generator for the community during Hurricane Sandy—Lisa and Cynthia’s dedication has never wavered. Their café isn’t just about food; it’s about creating a warm, welcoming space where laughter flows, memories are made, and everyone feels at home.
